ADDITIONAL GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS AND INFORMATION:

Students must pass the New Mexico state mandated required assessments in Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Math, and Science.

*CNM/UNM math courses as determined by placement on the Accuplacer/ACT/SAT scores will be accepted for the fourth year of math credit as long as it is not remedial.

**Students will be required to complete two credits of the same Foreign Language. Although CNM/UNM language courses may fulfill the ECA language requirement, elective credit will be granted in lieu of practical and fine arts credit.

***All students must take at least one Dual Enrollment course.
Fitness courses do not meet this requirement. Students will receive 1 APS elective credit for a 3.0 hour college course and a .3 for any 1.0-2.0 hour course.

Every student must be enrolled at least half-time to be considered a student at ECA. Half-time status is defined as two classes at ECA. CNM or UNM do not count towards enrollment status at ECA.

Students must reside in Albuquerque Public School District to be eligible to attend ECA. Documentation must be provided during registration.
